Robin Roberts is an extraordinarily talented journalist and person. All the best.

So many great pics, thanks everyone, keep posting. I would really be happy if they would put CNN Newsroom on CNNI, with Kyra of course. They could give us half hour of American news at 20.00.cet. That's the time the last half of YWT airs. 'I really wouldn't be sorry for YWT, especially now when they have one anchor doing it.
I love those shots from the newsroom, when we see the anchors from their back. They have some strange stuff behind them.

You would get so tired of it so fast. I have to put up with 8 hours of it, its pretty bad at times

Suzanne Malveaux is on CNN Newsroom as an anchor? Wow! I'd like to see her in action!

Aww... NEWSROOMS! Bring em back on CNNI!

Sometimes she is the backup for Wolf Blitzer in the Situation Room :)

Since Hala is back from Iraq, I pretty much only tape the 20 min. before YWT to catch the YWT promo if they have one. Other than that I just tape AOL. I'd rather not watch CNNUS.

They have spiratically done the promos now a days. It was Isha once I think, and the rest are either Jim or Hala

When they do the newsroom sweep with the camera, the average age of researchers seems to be 65 o.o

A question for one of our American friends who watches CNN Newsroom regularly... How often does CNN use over the shoulder graphics (like the one I've posted below)?

The only thing I'd change would be to remove the lower third. The OTS graphic sells the story to me much more effectively than the lower third.

On another note, the shot doesn't seemed to be framed correctly. I think the camera needed to pan right just a fraction more (bringing the OTS closer to Heidi).

They do use it often. Not every time, but usually several times a show. It's kind of hit and miss on size and placement.

Thanks kindly for the info, Houston.

I'm not sure that I like that big version of the OTS with Don Lemon. I think the smaller version looks much better.

These may be better representative - same set, same format, altho I don't think they call it NewsRoom.

Krya has been sent to San Deigo - and is using her father, a professor of Spanish, as her translator. Thought that was different. And nice she could work with her Dad.
