FNC's Steve Centanni & Olaf Wiig receive David Bloom award on Wednesday night.

Former ABC World News anchor Bob Woodruff got a standing ovation Wednesday night, and the ailing Tony Snow a presidential show of support. Woodruff was helping hand out the David Bloom award at the Radio & Television Correspondents Association dinner in Washington, where Snow had also been scheduled to be in attendance.

Woodruff was the 2006 recipient of the award, named after the NBC correspondent who died while covering Iraq. Woodruff could not be at last year's cerremony because he was recovering from his own severe wounds suffered while covering the war.

This year's award went to Fox journalists Olaf Wiig and Steve Centanni, who were kidnapped in Palestine but eventually released after the intervention of the government and the efforts of Fox News execs.

Centanni thanked the President for the administration's efforts and Fox News Chairman Roger Ayles and others at the network for their aid. He also thanked the journalistic community as a whole for downplaying the story when that was necessary, then spotlighting it when that was what was needed.

Not suprised to hear that Tony Snow is stepping down as Bush's press spokesperson. He looked very, very poorly in pictures we saw yesterday.

Fox News is best news network ever

"And here we see the majestic B-52. Look closely when her little babies now take their first step into adulthood. They carefully leave the warmth of her mothers belly and set foot into the wild. Silently they fly towards their new home and lodge themselves into the ground and bringing some motherfu**in freedom to anyone in need. The B-52 is now ready to mate again and soon another batch of little bomblings will spawn from its womb to continue the never ending cycle of freedom and democracy."

I liked that Houston  As I have previously stated that is the only show of any value on that station. That Cal Thomas is as conservative as they come but he is a gentleman and civilised and not a hate monger like John Gibson, Sean Hannity, Bill O Reilly and others over there.

I don't particularly care for Fox News. It's mostly talk to begin with featuring overblown graphics designed to keep the mindless channel surfer tuned. The journalists, if you can call them that, are painful to watch and clearly are fulfilling the agenda of Rupert Murdoch and Bill O'Reilly. I also didn't appreciate their exclusion and downplaying of Ron Paul, who is a true conservative and exposed the even false conservatism of Fox News.

I hate this channel, everything about it , from their cheep graphics to bimbo anchores and that monster called O'Reilly.
The fact it is the most watched news channel in the US is sad and says a lot about the state of minds of many people.
