^^ Oh no, not another simulcast... sometimes TSR is OK, Wake Up Call is unbearable and AC360 is way too American!!!

Withy regards to the CNNI scheduling, if it replaces another CNN/US programme fine, if it replaces a CNNI newscast then not fine

^^Logic would suggest TSR simulcast will be gone then and regional variation will start at 7pm instead of 6pm.

That would be fantastic. Would be great to have an 11pmUK WR back on weekdays

Unbelievable!

CNNI gets another CNN/USA simulcast news show. What CNNI simulcast show do we get on CNN/USA?

Good for Erin, but how about giving us USA viewers a show from CNNI?

WTF :censored: So basically we'll have no HK WR shows in Europe in that slot anymore. I doubt TSR will be axed for this, Wolf is the face of CNN and has to be on CNNI. Really can't believe some newbie is getting an international slot....

Not exactly 'newbie' to international viewers though. Erin had been seen wordlwide for three hours a day on CNBC (Squawk On The Street and Street Signs)

I'm so ticked off right now my blood is boiling. I'm certainly not going to turn this into a Hala Gorani thread, because I certainly do not want to disrespect Erin. I'm excited about her show and wish her nothing but success. But dang, you have a proven show and a more than proven anchor in Gorani yet we can't get International Desk simulcast in the U.S.
Hala is good enough to anchor the Newsrooms, John King USA and co-anchor various specials, but her show, one of CNNI flagship shows if not "the" flagship show - can't garner a domestic simulcast. :talk2hand:

Um, why?

Okay, so Wolf, Anderson, Piers, Ali/Carol, etc. all get international slots, so Erin will join in too? I don't think so. I would rather watch Anna than another CNN USA simulcast (even if this and TSR are not simulcasted on CNNI North America, but I usually watch the European feed). It's called CNN International for a reason. I am also on the bandwagon to get I-Desk on CNN USA (I'm probably only a handful of Americans who knows what's going on outside of the US), and also BackStory.

I do wish Erin the best of luck, though.

I don't think Wolf will be simulcasted at all after this show starts. This will replace it..

And guess who just popped up on Newsroom with Suzanne discussing Syria? :talk2hand:

These teasers are just not enough CNN? Okay, I'm going to stop now because I'm about to lose. :taped: :taped: :taped:

I didn't see her on NewsRoom, but she has done a great deal of coverage from the Middle East. Business coverage to be sure, but she has travelled there a lot and has had several specials on CNBC about Dubai and Egypt that I remember. I've always liked Erin and will actually watch this show. It would be great if it's international in scope and even better if it gets rid of Blitzer on CNNI. Otherwise, I'm with everyone else - quit ruining CNNI with CNNUS's rot.

One question, is this new show replacing Wolf's last hour in the US? (6PM hour)

A bit more about the show (from Erin's bio on cnn.com):

Erin Burnett OutFront, a nightly news program that reports on the people, places, and events that lead the global conversation. In her trademark casual and confident style, whether out on the road or in front of the headlines, Burnett delivers a show that is in-depth and curious.

It seems we may have to wait a week to find out more. The question from the forum twitter account was will this be a live simulcast on CNNI? The answer:

Not sure of the CNNI details yet, but will try and get that info. Most of the info surrounding the launch still a week off.

http://twitter.com/#!/OutFrontCNN/statuses/108891172847620096

As someone in Hong Kong, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing this show as a live simulcast as it may mean the end of a recorded AC360. Whilst it wouldn't be perfect to have a non-fully international news bulletin during the breakfast hour here in Asia, it would certainly be better to have a live show that can react quickly, than a 2 hour old recorded show

Indirectly. OutFront is at 7pmET pushing JKUSA to 6pm, SitRoom to 4pmET and taking an hour away from CNN Newsroom. So Wolf will no longer be on at 6pmET, but he will not see his hours cut

The picture I saw advertising the show features her in the field in a ponytail holding a camera. My first thought: she looks like a female version of Anderson Cooper.
