I'm surprised the BBC and CNNI have yet to report it. Right now, CNNI is just showing a ticker during GPS. Even CNN Domestic had a live report from Atika Shubert from London for a few minutes.

I didn't even bother switching to CNNI. I'm surprised they even went to the effort of putting a flipper up.

A good person tweeting on twitter is Robert Peston from the BBC.

News Int sources say they had no inkling Rebekah Brooks would be arrested when discussing her resignation last week

http://twitter.com/#!/Peston/status/92572960824627201

The arrest of Rebekah Brooks is a huge deal - one degree of separation from the most powerful people (several of them) in the UK

Also, a CNN producer in London sounds like he's giving much more information that CNNI is:

To be clear: Rebekah Brooks arrested over BOTH #phonehacking AND bribery investigations; being questioned now

So many people have been poisoned by this story. Breaking a few minutes ago: John Yates, London Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner has resigned. The chief resigned yesterday.

Although there is no suggestion of anything sinister, I'm very sad to learn that the story has taken quite a dramatic turn.

There are just so many angles to this story and I'm still surprised that so many new developments appear each day.

And now reports are emerging that News Corp. could actually sack Rupert Murdoch himself from the CEO position!

Tragic, gripping, history-making. Throw any word you like and it's bound to describe this hearing with James and Rupert Murdoch.

I'd like to say that I have no issues with protesters, but once they use physical abuse as a form of protest, I lose sympathy with them. I felt really awful to think Mr Murdoch was assaulted as he was. People need to understand that the man who did that could have had a knife or something. I guess it was ok in the end though after Mrs Murdoch splatted him back with the foam.

Is James Murdoch expected to go back and testify again? I must admit I have really followed the story that closely since watching the Murdoch's testify. If James returns to answer more questions though, I'll be watching. It's fun to watch 'em squirm.

Phone hacking, Emmy awards = 2 completely separate stories right? Not when News Corp. is involved! Details: http://www.huffingto...e_n_968688.html
