According to the facebook page, it's a new equestrian show on CNN, but this description from the same page makes it sound like a segment for World Sport. :-?

Where precision meets tradition. Few sports can match the elegance and history of horse racing. Once a month, CNN will bring you four days of coverage around a major meeting from the world of flat racing within World Sport. Where ancient tradition meets cutting-edge technology, we will bring you the inside track; getting the stories from the top trainers, jockeys and owners in the business, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the fashions and the fortunes that go hand-in-hand with the most glamorous sport on the planet. From the refined Thoroughbreds themselves to the logistics involved with training, feeding and transporting these magnificent athletes all over the world. For the best material from the world of flat racing, join CNN at the Winning Post.

Of all the sports CNNi could earn from, didn't see this one coming. Who do you think will host?

CNNI seem obsessed with horse racing all of a sudden (guess there's a sponsor), judging by the Facebook page it's a continuation of the previously released details about special coverage of Glorious Goodwood which I guess is being used to launch this new show.

Do CNNI even have any horse-racing experts in the WS team? If not, I wonder who will be presenting.

^^Robin Oakley comes to mind. He wrote a couple of books about horse racing, if I'm not wrong.

I'm so happy CNNI managed to find a sponsor. I was a little worried that they would have to run something new without a sponsor. *sarcasm*

Especially as it's good old Longines, they've never sponsored anything before on CNN!

Did anyone see the lower third graphics for Winning Post? They used the normal CNNI lower thirds when the segments aired on World Sport, but the edited segments they play during commercial breaks has a rather nice new design for the lower thirds.

Did anyone see the promo for this month's Winning Post? The graphic at the end still says "Starts Friday". They haven't updated the graphic from the 1st promo they did.

^^ They even have the wrong website on the end of that promo. Winning Post has its own site at: cnn.com/winningpost yet the promo simply has cnn.com/sport

So, this thing is now officially a monthly show, according to CNN Asia Pacific. The newsless weekend boredom on CNNI expands even further.
