Wow, a new female face for World Sport. She's jumping from the BBC.

Great news, love Amanda and was sad to hear her leaving BBC but this is now even better, on CNN she'll get more airtime and chances to interview sport stars!

Liked her presentation on BBCWN, hope to catch her on CNNI soon!
By the way, no wonder I didn't see Amanda's name on the list of BBCWN sports presenters moving to Salford. Maybe she didn't want to move all the way up north?

Very good addition for CNNI. Sadly recently she was only on in the UK about once every two weeks doing the BBC1 weekend evening bulletin sport (and a few news channel appearances that are part of the same shift) so didn't get to see her much. And it means that World Sport is back up to 6 anchors, so hopefully less taped shows!

The BBC has lost quite a few sports presenters from the Salford move. Celina Hinchcliffe, Chris Hollins, Amanda Davies, Matt Gooderick (I think) and possibly others. The news channel has only retained 1 of it's previous regular presenters (Olly Foster) so it's been quite strange getting used to so many new presenters at once

Saw her on 5.30pm ET edition of WS, but she was not hosting, just reporting on something from London studio.

Amanda was a studio guest on 18.00 cet World Sport talking about F1. Her voice shows she still has that cold that she mentioned on Twitter last week. I guess that's why she hasn't presented a full WS yet.

All she seems to be doing at present is live reports from the newsroom or studio. I hope we get to see her host a World Sport soon.

Well she was one of my favorite BBC sport presenters but that's not that hard since most of them are not that good. ;-)
