Hey guys,

I'm watching World News with Stephen Frazier (9pm GMT) and I noticed that the opening titles were slightly different. Here's what I thought:

- When the globe turned between the London, Atlanta and Hong Kong sparkles, it seemed to turn really smoothly
- When the headline graphics came up, the white sparkles around the graphics seemed more solid
- And the headline graphics came up really smoothly
- The astons appear much more smoothly too...

Yes... smooth's the word. Or is it just me?
I'm Rosemary Church, thanks for your company. *SMILES*

Hey all, Is it only my problems or do you guys also get the 'erks' during the ads of the programs. Like for instance, during the commercial for ITME, the time zones appear really slowly and the CNN logo also appears like that.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but there seems to be a new series of opens for World News and Headlines. It's still the same style/music, but the video images contained in the openings have been changed.

Here are some shots:

Yeah, there are definitely some new titles.
And new CNNI graphics (24 hour fast forward of a new town (not really sure what city it is) and completely new "this is CNN"-type ad (without voice-over))

If anyone has video openers, they should post them so we can determine the differences first hand!

Talking about the openings of the feature programs, what's wrong with CNN? I mean, ITME used to have one of the best openings just before they came with this new one (and the type of the word that is used to write Inside the Middle East. :? )

Now Biz Traveller used to have a great opening as well and now came this one w/ this video-game music.

Global Office also used to be better with the red opening.

I just hope that Main Sail and Living Golf will continue with their great openings, instead of this cube trend (not that I watch these shows often - specially LG).

I actually quite like the new Business Traveller openings!

I've never seen them :P Are they the usual CNNi titles or an orangy colored? I might have seen it on CNN.com, but that could've been Quest on Quest

it's like they are making the CNNI logo the "Quarter-Globe", not the CNN logo...

I have noticed there is no "Up Next" these days, while during a program, in the bottom right screen.
