That's great that viewers in Canada and the US will now have access. Sky News' international story coverage can match the international news channel's efforts at the best of times.
Let's put the NEWS back into Cable NEWS Network.

That clip is absolutely fascinating: A Sky News reporter in China was detained and managed to stay live on air throughout the whole process and report what was happening in real time. They must have some amazing equipment there at Sky News! The video feed is crystal clear!

This may have happened a long time ago, but what happened to Sky News Active (in the UK)?


I know you posted some months ago - but basically they cut it down from 8 to 4 screens in 2010. At that point you knew it was on the way out, then it was quietly dropped soon after.

It used to be good - but then so did Sky News.

Apparently, Sky has let three, in my opinion very good newsreaders go. Lorna Dunkley would be a great fit for CNN London. Just saying like. :D
