Ms. Baldesarra was dressed for a job as a Hooters restaurant waitress and not for a job as an anchor on CNN.  She wore a push up bra and a tight grey t=shirt that showed off a full 1/3 of her boobs. And, as is her wont, she thrust her breats forward so you couldn't miss them.   Contrast that with Patrick Snell who was beautifully and appropriately dressed in a suit starched shirt and tie.  He managed to keep from thrusting his breats into our faces.  I really don't want to see my anchors dressed as tarts.

What's going on?

Uhm, what???

Bringing any of the sports people to do news is ridiculous and especially someone as over the top and gimmicky as Lara.

I guess that's what you have to do after you fire top class experienced veterans. :sarcastic:

Lara has also co-hosted Early Start with Berman last month, I think they're tryin to make her a general news achor.

You can see her anchoring at 0:40 on this video:

She certainly has that Brooke Baldwin leg pose all worked out. Wouldn't mind them shipping her over to domestic.

Gosh, is she great or not. I realy like her style of anchoring sports! She is not reading the story but telling it!

And from those caps, she seems really enthusiastic about it! :-)
NEW DAY, BLACK FRIDAY 2015

BERMAN: Have shoppers become hooked on their mobile devices to fill their needs?
PEREIRA: Guilty as charged!
BERMAN: Their shopping needs, I'm talking about. We'll break it down next.
PEREIRA: (gasps) What is wrong with you?!
BERMAN: I don't know!

I am never a fan of over enthusiastic or fake anchors that try too hard but for some reason, I quite enjoy watching Lara! I think she genuinely likes what she is doing. She toned it down for Newscenter and again, had that connection with the audience. I wouldn't mind her taking over that show.

Also love her accent! I work with a lot of non native English speakers and they often ask how to tell the difference between US and Canadian accents. I tell them to watch Lara and Jonathan!

Completely agree with this. Isha has been trying sooooo hard for years and she still seems genuinely fake. Lara has been around for about a year or less and, while she may still not have enough authority, I don't have a feeling she's acting. However, it would perhaps be wise to pair her more often with other anchors on double headed shows instead of letting her loose all alone or the connection might be lost as the ego rises.

Lara is indeed great.  Wish they expand her role to news as well. Amara and Lara are great additions, so thumbs up CNN management. I never really liked Zain or Monita and have been pretty neutral on Fionnuala or Patricia, even though she never really got a chance to shine, but these two ladies are impressive.

I like that she is passionate about sports and stories she is talking about. Quite a change from some other monotone anchors who are there just because they have to be there.

It is quite rare to see an anchor who connects well with an audience, keeps people entertained and doesn't seem patronising or fake.

Just curious.  There seems to be a lot of Lara B. fans here. Personally I find her to be a phony.l  Wonder if it's demographic or gender based.  Can you ID your age group and gender?  I'm too old and a woman.
