Whoa! They made Studio 7 look cozy! It's interesting because Fredricka just used the studio on the weekend for Newsroom. The wall with the screens was still white; no wood.

CNN Commentary has the new HLN show logos

And the Daily Share starts tomorrow replacing HLN Now from 12-5PMET; not sure how that fits in having a young target audience that likes social media.

LOL I thought one of the logos said "Jack Off." That wouldn't have been appropriate for TV.

HLN apparently has gone the opposite of CNN , no LIVE bug at all

Also  a look at  the new studio 7 here

The chalkboard design and the black walls with the lighted white strips reminds me of "The Lab" on the weather channel. Wonder if clickspring is behind the new design

I love how they opened up what was once called "the Cube." The only thing that made the intro of the set look messy were the large amount of cables laying on the floor. I really do like the design. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the chalkboard wall.

Really? How? They only have five fulltime people: Robin, Jen, Bob, Brian...and now Mike.

5 vs New Day's 3. New day no longer has a dedicated weather or entertainment presenter.

CNN Today has four. Amara, Michael, Tom, Patrick/Don/Erin.

Point being... It's not that unusual.

I just find it strange that the breakfast show that apparently has a tight budget has more on Ai talent than the apparently very expensive New Day.

Just caught a bit of Morning Express. The graphics are surprisingly clean. They remind me of CNNI 2006. All on screen information is on a very translucent white background. I also liked how they incorporated the little tail of the HLN logo into each information bar.

Susan Hendricks has left HLN - probably wasn't very interested in the network's new direction.

Does anyone know where good (preferably Hi-Def) pictures of the new studio can be found?

I find it odd that HLN isn't covering the State of the Union. I know they've never really covered it, but wouldn't that be an important thing to cover for their target audience? CNN digital has a really laid-back broadcast during the SOTU address in the Hambycast. They could've put that on HLN. Instead, they have reruns of the Forensic Files.

Hambycast would have definitely been appropriate for HLN

Why are Nancy Grace and Dr. Drew using blurred images of studio 7 as they're background? What happened to Dr. Drew's studio? Even some guests for the other shows has similar backgrounds. This is getting obsessive.
