Went to Tanzania for a week. Was in transit at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia airport and landed in North Tanzania. in Addis, I was in a wheelchair and they took my temperature and asked here I was coming from. They didn't do this for the other passengers with me, so I assume it was b/c of the w/c. On the way home I left from Zanzibar and was screened there with paperwork and my temp was taken. I think this was done in my home airport in Cairo, but it was 1:45 am when we arrived and we'd been traveling for 14 hours. .
Was good to see that they were taking it seriously. Don't know how long it was going on.
Since the incubation period is 21 days, I would prefer that they ask where they have been for the last 21 days AT EVERY AIRPORT IN THE WORLD.
Would be interested in finding out what other airports are doing.
By the way, if you can swing it, do go to Tanzania. It was great. wild animals and beautiful beaches.
