Worky, ginnyfan, thanks so much for those! That breaking news theme remains one of my favourites... I trained myself to rush to the TV everytime I heard that. The current breaking news theme does not stand out at all.

Thanks Workaholic. I loved CNN Today music, it was so relaxed and it reminded me of summer mornings. I'm happy that you posted those long versions and not just the titles.
Also the weather music was so much better, the tunes were so catchy and I always enjoyed them.
If anyone else has music from old CNN, especially the music they used for breaks and during the show, post them.

I have this CNN Today music,I love dit, but I'm not sure when was it used. I guess it's before 2005 and the 'relaxed summer'' music, but after the BizNews ''80's'' music.

I've already posted this in the YWT thread, but I'll put it here as well anyway - it's some rare YWT intro music (and I love it!):


This isn't a download from a dodgy site, so don't worry about viruses. I use Windows Live Skydrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com) to host my files - it's an excellent free service from Microsoft, not some random spyware-infected site .
