She seems to have taken over NPW and Arwa Damon as the correspondent most likely to be sent to dangerous places in the ME.

I don't think she is taking over from NPW and Arwa. It looks like they are trying to share around those assignments a little more.  Arwa has been doing such a great job on the migrant crisis - it makes sense to allow someone else to cover the war zone right now.
I think Clarissa is doing a great job. Good to see CNN send women into dangerous places when many other networks don't.

Now wait for CNN to be slated for sending women into dangerous places instead of men.

Must be a British thing!

Houston, why don't you get rid of the sexist crap?  I've just complained about it and you know about it.  Please do something about it.

Looking back over the time since she arrived, Do you guys think Clarissa is totally happy with moving to CNN compared to the big American network CBS? I mean, do you think she is satisfied being fill in anchor and not doing what she used to so often anymore?

She does reporting, investigative journalism and had some exclusive reports and interviews plus now started anchoring. Sounds better than having your report shown once in a few months on a 30 minute newscast.
