I can't watch it any more. KB seems to be doing it for laughs. She obviously gets extra money for doing it, and as it is not aired on CNN US she treats as a half hour bit of fun.

This isn't a simulcast?  Why the fuck are we geting it then?   I quit watching it quite a while ago because of her demeanor.

I don't think she gets extra money for it -- I think she's doing it for the glory of having her own show with her name on it.

She is equally unwatchable during her show on CNNUS, as is Jon Berman — they treat it like they're giving analysis about a weekly sitcom. A shame, as I used to really like both of them when they were in more restrained roles.

Let's be honest - it's not really fair to compare John to Kate, hehe, I mean if you watch Early Start you can see it's day and night. Shame that CNN has kept on Kate, imo she should be on her way out.

So, will CNNi make an international version of this because why only bother the state of the United States? Paula Newton is my first choice if they will.

I'm not amused by the idea of listening to that child babble about the US instead of hearing some international news.

Why do we have to have this? I was looking forward to Zain returning. Instead we get chit chat about a political environment we tired of

@CNNJason

As with State of the Race, this will just be on CNN International. Because of her I will not be watching it.

What?  You don't like the prom queen?  I won't watch it because there's enough US coverage on CNNi.  It's sad how much I don't watch these days.

Was unfortunate enough to catch the start of this just now, just realised that Kate say's 'tonight', despite it being 2PM in New York, so I assume this show is intended for European primetime? Yet when they get going, they talk about domestic issues, like it's aimed at US citizens.

It confuses me.

CNNi has been simulcasting CNN/USA's coverage of the James Comey testimony all day, and will have an hour-long edition of State of America at 8pm London Time, 3pm Eastern.

The worst problem with State of America is that woman who thinks she's funny.

The worst problem with State of America being on for an hour is that woman who thinks she's funny.
