So CNNi viewers are getting Amanpour/Gorani/Bouldin during their usual hours in Europe/England/MENA but they are located in Cleveland.  Is this being simulcast in the US?  Will we be getting the usual US crew during US prime time?

It's not simulcasted on domestic, they have their own all day coverage.

I quite like the set ups both US & Int are using, it's like a gigantic newsroom behind. Quite refreshing from the usual drab.

Apologies in advance, but CNNI can do their own separate coverage for US news, but can't for international news... How ironic.

5am HKT, CNN Today continues with the post-Erdogan exclusive interview that aired at 4am (11pm Istanbul), preempting QMB. At 4:30am Becky Anderson goes live and is branded as 'CNN Newsroom'. Interesting, CNNi doesn't want to overhype the craziness inside the RNC. But why do they need to hook Domestic on International breaking stories?

We'll have another hour of news from around the world as this broadcast continues to our viewers on CNN USA & CNN International. --George Howell

The saddest thing is that this thread is in the International section not the Domestic one.

Wonder what Wolf will be having for lunch in the 'CNN GRILL'? :D

Seriously though, Wolf is the only anchor from Domestic that I can take seriously. The rest are mostly a joke.

Nothing to heavy so he can jump back in action when need be    :P

There are few I can ... John Berman and Jake Tapper are pretty good anchors.

I know the 'CNN Grill' thing could be questioned for seriousness, but it makes a change to see something more light/ fun from domestic, rather than the negative tone it usually takes just lately.

Does anyone know what the CNN International convention set looks like? It seems to be on the third, fourth, fifth or even sixth floor, as their angle is much much higher than I've seen elsewhere (CNN U.S.'s main booth is on the second floor). Is there a desk? Is it big enough to bring in guests? Is it just a one person position with dozens of other reporters from other networks by their side?

It's basically a position meant to be used as a single reporter shot.
