In my view, Phil is the most gentle and handsomest correspondent CNNI has ever had. Isn't it? His reporting always makes me glued to TV. He might be well suited for anchoring Business News. I recommend CNN London replace one that stupid guy, who is anchoring WBT(I don't even like to call his name. Ch**** Ho****.) at this hour by Phil Black himself.

He is now in Moscow.
What is the deal with CNN sending random people to Moscow? It is a black-hole and they just disappear in Moscow, so CNN has to send new journalists? : )

I want to see him on CNN Today or BI, I agree he's got that anchor look.

He's got a strange thing going with his hands - just like Max - rubbing them all the times.

Saw "official" photo of Phil during his reporting from Georgia via telephone. You know - on the red background, like all CNN journalists have (they still don't have it on cnn.com). But holy cow, the airbrushing. The photo barely resembled him in real-life (with all that TV make-up) - eyebrows too high, left eye moved too left and tilted.
What is the deal with that crazy airbrushing for all "official" photos for cnn.com?!

He is not the most famous CNN Correspondent, but I think that he's a good reporter. He covered the war in South Ossetia in August was on assignment in Iraq in October. I think that there is a lot of potential in him!

Would CNN have plans to appoint Phil as Australia/New Zealand correspondent I'm wondering, Phil would be an ideal choice.

I think Cal is still Beirut bureau chief, so Phil may be the new Baghdad correspondent?

I wouldn't be surprised if that turned out to be the case. They had to replace Arwa, but Michael Ware is back in Baghdad at the moment too, so who knows.
