I can now access and watch every single on the CNN YouTube page. Curious if anyone else who was blocked previously can do the same?

Doubt they'll ever let Americans view that account.

I'd like to know what those restrictions are specifically - CNN owns the copyright to all their material. Makes no sense - it looks to me like most of the videos have been broadcast on US or .com which we can get. Hit inflation - make Americans look on .com so they can say they had more hits...

I sent a comment complaining about US viewers not having access, and it said something like pending approval. I doubt they'll approve my comment.

Does anyone have any indication of the idea behind blocking CNN's Youtube videos to those outside of Europe? There's nothing really on there that I can see that justifies the move. It's just a selection of videos already uploaded to CNN.com - except they work on Youtube.
Let's put the NEWS back into Cable NEWS Network.
less World Sport, more World Report.

Seems to work now, though it's content is limited from domestic.

If you try to view some of International's videos, you get this message.

"Politics: Year in review"
This video contains content from CNN (Europe), who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.

Thanks for posting the link Arrapare. I have watched a couple of shows already and it looks pretty good. Is it a fake or an old set?

The set in those videos is the main HLN set in Atlanta that is used for Morning Express and rolling news hours. However, I believe Student News has since moved to the Prime News set.

Student News were briefly in the Prime News studio, but then returned to the main set. They updated their graphics and switched to HD with the new school year. The most recent episodes are always available here.
