I agree. I have studied the so-called new graphics today and I can'f find the 'new.'

Hopefully the MSNBC TV Board gang can meet up here if Eddie doesn't get us a new home. Although it is ironic for us to be on a CNN Fan site... hopefully we'll be welcomed here. I mean, I do watch CNN even though it's not my #1 choice... I tend to like the personalities on MSNBC much better...

Cafelatte, I like your initiative in starting this new thread. Now let's hope the others show up.

As for an MSNBC topic, I think Mika is sick to death of the Blago story. She was pretty clear about that yesterday and then, because Rachel had a good interview with him last night, Mika had to talk about it again. I do think they overdid Blago on Monday. A little of Blago goes a long way.

Most of the time I am getting an error message on the old MSNBC-TV board and cannot even read or post there any more although I can see that others have posted. Go figure.

Lead Story

Time after time, Morning Joe has wrongly identified the lead story. I have to tune into American Morning to find out if I am right in my judgement of what the day's lead story is.

Today, MJ led with Blago AGAIN.

American Morning led with the President's 'call out' of Wall Street bonuses. This is the real lead story.

Both stories are rich with possibilities for discussion, but I'm getting sick of Blago. The bonus story is new from yesterday.

Yo, ucf..... glad you're here!!

;-)

Here's a suggestion for the anchor rotation posts. Use one generic title and post a new rotation message daily under that title. The neat thing about the software here is that you can edit. What a concept! That means you could come back several times a day and update that day's rotation information post.

The problem with that idea is that you can only edit your own posts, then other people would not be able to add throughout the day.

They led at 6AM with blogo, but not at 7AM. More people watch during the 7AM hour.

Last night on Countdown, as Keith was ending the show he asked Rachel Maddow to ask Rather if he was busy weeknights at 10PM? There have been rumors that MSNBC was looking to add another show at 10PM.

Obviously, Keith thinks Rather would be a good choice. I'm not so sure. On the other hand, people seem undecided as to just who should get the slot. Take a look at this poll at TV Newser.

I don't think he would be. I think Dan is smart journalist and an exponent of reviving hard news in today's media, but I don't know if MSNBC would want to get their hands on someone so toxic like Dan, who killed the credibility of another network.

Nice to be here first and I don't think they should pick Dan Rather for a 10pm show
Why not pick some one different or bring back Abrams
