The Becky Anderson thread was one of the most popular threads on the previous forum. Have all the Becky fans left?

I'm still her fan, but I can never catch her anymore because she's always on too late! But it's strange seems to me this post isn't popular anymore.

Well, I like Becky, I have all of her LG's, but I rarely see her either.
It looks like she has a new show:
THE SPIRIT OF... is a new 15-minute feature programme presented each month by CNN anchor Becky Anderson where she embarks on an intellectual journey, exploring the diverse fields of arts, culture, science, sports, business and philosophy to understand how such matters affect our lives. Each programme will introduce viewers to a key thinker or an outstanding leader to gain an insight into their work and careers.

Beginning the series, Becky goes forth in THE SPIRIT OF...ADVENTURE. Have you ever wondered what inspired Edmund Hillary to climb Mount Everest? Or what drove Magellan to voyage around the world? Did Shackleton foresee the dangers in Antarctica? What motivated these people to push the limits?

THE SPIRIT OF...ADVENTURE sees Becky brave harsh conditions near the North Pole to undergo an intensive ‘Arctic Survival Course'. She ventures to the island of Spitsbergen in Norway to learn the vital skills needed to endure the Arctic wilderness and guiding her adventure, Becky gains insight from the world's most famous mountaineer, Reinhold Messner.

I just hope it doesn't cut in to a WN. Why don't they just run it during BI?

She wasn't on our screens for a long time,so I guess that's why this thread wasn't as popular as before. But now she's back and she looked fab last night. I thought she was gonna do French elections.

From the times listed on the CNN AP website, it looks like it will indeed cut into the final 15 minutes of World News...

ginnyfan, thanks for those awesome caps as well!

Who could know that Becky was such a radical lady?
It takes guts to face the harsh conditions near the North Pole.

We have a lot of Becky talk in Hala's thread, so what do you think about Becky-Hala ''feud'', or is there any feud at all?

Would those who love Becky to bits not concede that she is the rudest anchor male or female at CNN. When say Gerri Willis will give a market update and then says Becky back to you. Ms Anderson quite often will not acknowledge Gerri and will go straight to the next item. She does this with others too especially the weather anchors and sports anchors except for Terry Baddoo, it's as if they are beneath her.
