This weeks show was in the big New York studio where AC360 and American Morning comes from. Is this a permanent change?

I didn't see the whole show, only a clip, but it looked pretty good with Fareed using some of the set the way AC360 does.

I think it was from the main New York studio again this week. They had been using the same set since the show launched almost 3 years ago, so I guess any change in this case is a nice one.

I saw a clip of last Sunday's show and I liked the look of the main NY set. If it is a permanent move, then I approve.

I wonder if they're dismantling the Lou Dobbs set in the other studio. Seeing that his show finished over 10 months ago, and with the Spitzer/Parker clusterf...I mean, primetime program starting at some point, maybe they're getting rid of that set.

Was this week's show a repeat? I remember seeing the interview with Anjem Choudary before.

Don't think so. The interview was on the set used for the London edition earlier this year. Maybe he had been on as a guest before?

Fascinating interview with the businessman on corruption in Russia though

I have missed the last few shows. The set has changed since I last caught an episode. I like it!

This week the show is from Hong Kong and the way they've done the set looks great. They've only put two big plasmas behind Fareed infront of the set, but it all looks very nice

Gloria Borger hosted this week's edition of GPS.

Is this the first time ever that GPS's had a fill-in host? Even when it's taped? Where's Fareed?

Thankfully Fareed was still on at the end of the show with an interview and "Fareed's Take".

Gloria was quite a good substitute, I have to say. Never had an idea who could be filling in for Fareed when he's away, but she is a good (and now I say almost obvious) choice. Pretty informed, serious, calm, intelligent.

I didn't catch the show on the weekend, but I've always usually enjoyed hearing Gloria's analysis when she's been on with CNNUS simulcasts of domestic political events. It sounds like she was a smart choice to fill in for Fareed.

Fareed Zakaria has apparently been having regular discussions with President Obama on national security issues. http://www.huffingto...s_n_861685.html
