No, she started the show in the regular studio, then moved to the newsroom after the break. When Martin tossed back to her to end the show, she was back in the regular studio. You can find more pics of her in the newsroom in the CNNI Studios thread.

She's done a few segments on CNN Today this morning. Out of all the new anchors she's the best.

Apparently, Pauline has been relocated to Hong Kong. She presented that one-off hour of CNN Today today:

Wow, HK is gonna have the most anchors soon, this all looks like an experiment. They need some man there too.

BTW, haven't seen Kaushal for days, mayve her days in HK are over.

I think Pauline is fabulous. If nothing, it's great to see more Asian-Americans on the anchor desk.

I wonder if Pauline and Kaushal simply just swapped roles. If that's the case, then I approve. It's more suiting for an experienced national business reporter to be in HK and a US local news reporter to be in Atlanta on weekends at midnight. Pauline is a much better anchor.

I watched Pauline for the first time last night and i must say i really enjoyed her anchoring. :) Good anchor, great presence, pleasant to watch not boring. She kind of reminds me of former CNN HK anchor Veronica Pedrosa now with al Jazeera. I remember watching Veronica on CNN she was great in the evenings with Stan Grant.

Was Pauline another freelancer who has since been disposed of?

That's a shame if true.

She reminded of the great one: Veronica Pedrosa.

The last time I saw her was apparently December 15. She was presenting a USD$1 meal on the streets of Hong Kong. It was a fun report and I could tell she was having fun. At first, I was hoping that she was going to be Shakuntala's replacement, and I hope that's still the case. I think she's pretty good.

She's back! I was just thinking about what happened to her yesterday. I really liked her, and I preferred her to Kaushal. Judging by your cap, I'm guessing that she's just a business correspondent in New York, but at least we still get to see her.

It's criminal that we don't get to see Pauline as often as we should. It's like a little tease every now and then...
