I really, really, really love this new show, it's fresh and something we don't see on news channels. The backstories from Sara and Arwa were so interesting, we see all the hardships those reporters go through in order to make one report. Nice to see how Arwa speaks Arabic and communicates with people in Baghdad.
The graphics and music remind me of The Situation Room.

Tonight they showed what happened in the background of the Nobel prize breaking news. We could see the team in Atlanta gallery and newsroom and London newsroom all working on the story while Don was covering it on air. It was great.
Plus they gave as an insight into preparations for Becky's interview with Stephen Hawking.
I absolutely love this show.

I saw the Bihar flooding segment on CNN.com. It's definitely interesting to see the production side to broadcast journalism, especially to me since I'd like to pursue a career in that.

Launching "BackStory" has been the best move on CNNI for years! I like the format, the look behind the scenes, the possibility to see a story from a reporter’s perspective... and of course: the set is amazing and Michael’s fast-paced presenting style fits perfect to that kind of a program!

Well done, CNN! :D

One more interesting thing. Screens behind Michael show different CNN feeds. You can see many from NY and Wall Street and CNN London set too. Today I saw Fiounn taking her mic off, Poppy Harrlow using hair spray and Susan Lisovic putting on make up.

Well done this program. Love the new format, showing the scenes, for me the best program of CNNi. Congratulations to CNN!

I think BackStory is a good idea, but I just don't think it should displace a news bulletin at the top of the hour. Maybe put it 30 past.

Thanks for the answers! I didn't check the Youtube Channel... Silly me! The clips have been uploaded on cnn.com. Glad to have been able to see them at last! Most of all Phil Black's piece. My DVR was ok tonight. Another good BackStory! I think I'm addicted!
