Don't blame him for being scared! I'd be terrified.

Actually, she is not scary in ugly sense; she just gives that vibe of being unfriendly and eating puppies for breakfast.
I like her in the evening, in the morning she seems to be struggling with desire to worship Satan will that entire Goth look.
But, it doesn't mean that she is a bad anchor. Not at all.

Pedro is my favorite sport anchor, much better than boring Don. I can imagine Pedro trying to avoid Fiounnala in the newsroom.
He's lucky she's working in the evenings.
I wonder if he's Monita's boyfriend.
My favorite quote this morning comes from Pedro ( talking about Richard): ''I didn't know Scrooge was on the set this morning''

I found a really good interview with Pedro on a portuguese magazine. The interview is from early September 2007. As I know only Thot speaks portuguese here so I have decided to translate a little bit for you.

Our man on CNN
At 30 years old he's the only portuguese journalist with an international career in the most prestigious news network. Simplicity. He's the son we would all wish to have. Nice, polite, tall, interesting. Even now that he has a new and more responsible position on CNN, Pedro is still the same.
At the end of 2006 there was an opportunity for you to return to CNN, and therefore to Europe. Did you have that in mind?
Definitely, that was a dream come true. I think the CNN sports program is the most complete worldwide and I'm really pleased to be responsible for the european contents. It was an opportunity to turn to the decisions side, and to be part of that on CNN that's just terrific. As I said I'm not really concerned to show on Tv, I'd love to be a sports editor on a sports channel one day, and at this point of my life I'm having a lot of creative freedom. I've been really lucky in my professional life but, as you know, in the Tv world we do a lot of sacrifices, weekends, nights. In the U.S I haven't had a single weekend off, except on holidays. I worked every Christmas, new year's eves' but I'm very happy, this is the moment where all efforts turned out to be worthwhile.
Do you have a good salary?
I have negotiated the contract from U.S dollars to libra so, as you know, it worths a lot more. But it wasn't a financial decision, it was an investment in my career. I want to prove what I'm capable of now and then later in life be financially rewarded.
Did you go back to cook and do laundry by yourself or can your salary pay a cleaning lady? (Laughs) It's not possible, I do everything by myself.
Then you should turn into a really gifted husband! Do you have a girlfriend?
Not now, but I'm eager to have children though. I'd love to find someone with whom I could share my whole life. Until now, my personal life always came after work.
That means you never experienced a big love, like those kind of romances that are bigger than everything else?
Well, maybe I wasn't prepared until this moment.
And if it would put your career in risk? A big love can lead you to take the hardest decisions.
It would depend on the circumstances, the most important thing to me is to be happy. Everything is possible in life, and today there are only a few things I'd say I won't do them.
Do you play sports?
I play football with a group of friends from St Julian's School in Portugal who are living in London. In the U.S I used to play in a local team, I like the competitive side of it. I also play basketball, I was part of the Estoril Praia team in Portugal and was also a player for the sub-18 national team but when I arrived in the U.S I immediately realized I had no chances at all (laughs). I play tennis as well, it's really good for my mind.
Do you read a lot?
Not really, I read e-mais all day long and when I get home I find my refuge in movies, I like european cinema that focuses on the characters development, and I also play Championship Manager which is a computer game I've been playing since I was 17.
What's that? Playing Mourinhos?
(Laughs) Thats it, exactly.
(Ginnyfan's post at the beginning of this page is quite interesting it looks like Pedro is staring at Monita's picture lol I could not help noticing that or as I posted on her thread another funny coincidence)

Today, during morning CNN Today show with Max and Monita, after seeing a report about nude models, Pedro said that he would take off all his clothes for the sake of work.
And later, he continued joking with that he would unzip a button on his shirt after every story.
