I started my site in late 2005, when Michael was the Baghdad Bureau Chief for Time magazine and occasionally appeared on CNN to discuss the war. I began clipping his reports for friends, then posting them on a private site, then eventually opened it up to the public.

In mid-2006, Michael joined CNN and I kept adding his reports. I try to get them converted and posted within a few hours of the airing. I believe that video reporters should have their work archived just as print reporters do -- especially ones covering world events that will be studied as history for many decades to come...
