Do we know when international desk is coming on? Its weird here in australia, foxtel programme schedule has shown 'international desk' during YWT. Is it meant to be part of YWT? or totally different show? Sorry, i'm hopeless

yes some are resentful of Hala (even some of her female colleagues) but it was always a slam dunk to offer the show to Hala, to do otherwise would have been a missed free throw

This is a new show starting next week at 18.00CET. Judging from Houston found, Hala will be the anchor.

My guess is that he and Colleen will become the permanent presenters of YWT.

I'm excited for ID. I must confess that my love of Hala isn't nearly to the level of most of yours, though this is due to the fact that I always have class during YWT, and even when I don't, I'm usually sleeping in. However, ID is on at a reasonable time here, so hopefully I'll be able to get doses of Hala more frequently.

I don’t get all the mystery over who will host the show. Actually, I don’t get either, how a new program that is supposed to start next week isn’t being promoted by now.

Maybe it will be Jim. This 30 minutes slot has been looking like an experiment to me in the first place. They have those special backgrounds they only use there. But it's more of a debate show and doesn't look like up to minute news updates that Inetnat. Desk should provide.

I'm excited. This show sounds really good. I just don't understand why CNN has been so quiet promoting this and QMB. A full hour of World Business Today will also be nice (at least the later edition will be an hour.)

CNN.com has now updated this week's schedule with 90 min of WNA and 60 min of WBT, but no International Desk. Perhaps it's been put on hold until next week?

It has an half an hour of YWT then World Sport and ID starts on the hour (2am my time)
