How great to hear just now on News Stream that Mari will be at the final space shuttle launch next week. She was lucky enough to win tickets in the lottery they held. Knowing how much a space buff Mari is, that is great news.

I've been watching Mari for years on CNNI and I think she is my favourite weather presenter on the channel. From reading her bio, she used to anchor (I presume she doesn't do it anymore from what I've read in the CNNe topic) weekends on CNNe for breaking news. Such a multi-talented lady.

Very strange. The last tweet from Mari was on December 9. Even when she's on holidays she usually sends a couple of tweets. Hoping everything is ok.
