HLN has moved all of its programming, after raising America, over to the In Session/TruTV studio. Could we be expecting a new studio for Morning Express anytime soon? Considering that's the only program that uses that studio now.

I don't watch much of HLN. Mostly everything in between Morning Express and Evening Express when I'm flipping through. Sometimes a little Showbiz Tonight. I'm glad they're using another set. I was getting a case of studio fatigue seeing the same studio all day. I don't think they'll be getting a renovation any time soon given they recently added on Evening Express's set as well as Raising America's set. That fake control room background however is horrid and must be changed if they ever get to it.

BERMAN: I don't know!

Only watch it in airports, so I am happy with I anyway it wants to look.

The HLN After Dark use of Studio 7 bugs me. One wall is red, but the rest isn't. And it still just feels like Studio 7, with a jury box.

Will HLN EVER get a new studio? They've altered it so much, it looks worse and worse each day IMO.

I think with HLN's new "format" if you will a new studio is defenilty in order. Will they get it probably not...I do agree with you it looks worse and worse

He also mentioned the workspaces were switching.. What workspaces does he mean? I was at HLN in late April and they were renovating the newsroom and had been since November. But they said that staffers were about to move back in so I wonder what "workspaces" he's referring to.

Great, give the big studio to a no news channel. :sarcastic:

That doen't make any sense. Why didn't they give it to CNNI? Wasn't it reported just the other day that HLN was going to be transformed into the new TV arm of "Vice"?

I think they should give it to  CNN I ,especially since the channel is doing more news now ,  what's the point of HLN having it , the only show I would say from HLN should use studio 7 is Robin Meade's .

Given Albie's ridiculous plans for HLN, I'm guessing they'll need the space for Candy Crush Saga Live or whatever Facebook game show he's planning.

I wonder if HLN's programming will be in studio 7 tomorrow? It's the first day for Carol/ brooke in NYC so I would assume soon HLN will be making the switch tomorrow, if not soon.

No. I reached out to an HLN spox last week, and she said they won't be moving in immediately, and that it hasn't been decided what shows would be moving (though I suspect they all will).

I suspect they'll be doing some modifications and test runs to remove CNN logos/create set pieces that can block them out.

Iam guessing it would be Robin  Meade's program ,when they start.  I still hope that CNN I will also be able to use studio 7 as well .

CNN will still use Studio 7 during the weekends, according to that one TVNewser article.

CNN will use HLN's current (soon to be former) studio on the weekends, if I read correctly
