hello,

It's been very good to see Monita and Zain back together on World One. It felt like they didn't do the show together for ages.

I agree with you there Usoka. Monita and Zain are very good talent solo, but the show feels just right when both of them are back together to share with their banter.

We had 2 hours of W1 at 1100 and 1200 GMT today due to PMT being dumped because of Obama's SOTU address. Bliss.

I like how the producer of World 1 tweets what is coming up on the show to the forum twitter account every few days. I think it's a nice gesture and I've actually made a point to tune in every chance I can since the show recognises us fans. :D

A special edition of W1 on air now with Monita and Anna co-hosting (from Hong Kong). Anna is on with Monita as the show is being dominated by rolling coverage of the Indonesia earthquake.

World One aired extra today in the first Piers Morgan Tonight replay slot at Noon UK, Max Foster anchoring today. I expect there to be another edition after QMB.

Last Friday W1 was on air at 1100 CET (30 min. replacing Amanpour), to cover the announcement of the Nobel Peace Price from Oslo. Monita was anchoring from London, Jonathan was live in Atlanta to comment and explain. The only problem was that W1 started the whow by mentioning the different candidates and so on, and spent some minutes on that. During that time, the decision was announced, covered live by BBC and all other international networks. Didn't they know, after all these years, that the chairman comes out the door and read the decision exactly at 1100? Less than 30 sec after 11 the news was out. -All other places than on CNN - at this day "The world's news looser".

Monita left for Hong Kong, and Finn is now mentioned as the host of W1 http://cnnasiapacifi...en/program/350/
But Monita and Zain are still on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/w1CNN
And Zain is still the W1 anchor here too http://edition.cnn.c...erjee.zain.html
But Monita is in HK here http://edition.cnn.c...pal.monita.html
It's not easy to update the CNN web sites....

Funny to see Zain and a studio man having fun with a basket ball at the end of today's W1. She received the ball from him as she was live on air, held it for some moments, and then returned tha ball to him. Wide picture, we saw both of them. any pictures/video?
