I hope it clears up by tomorrow so we can see the celebrations.

 It would be kinda cool to hear Vausey and Emily trying to commentate through the fog/smog though.

Currently in Sydney: http://twitter.com/v...atus/6458884292

I wonder if it's assignment or vacation. Probably Christmas break.

I missed the special, but good on CNNI for dedicating that time to continue to cover the story. And I bet it would have been good to see John anchor again.

I missed Wednesday's show but I caught Thursday's. John did a good job, as you'd expect he would.

I saw yesterday's edition. I wonder if John ever feels like going back to anchoring? I think it would be great to see him as a fulltime anchor again.

CNN Newsroom 11-1 ET.

Has John been appearing regularly on CNN US while he's been in Haiti?

I've seen John on CNN Newsroom a couple of times already.

I just caught one of John's reports from the Quake zone in China. The man looks worn out. He & his team are doing an amazing job. I think I heard he was the first (if not only) journalist there.

John always has some of the saddest stories to report on. Strength to him.

John really likes getting to the scene of a story doesn't he? Have watched his reports from China these last few days. I think I heard that he hide to hike 4 miles on foot. What a horrible situation developing there.
