I think Back story showed a bit of Ben and his cameraman being escorted from a garbage dump the other day. Ben's cheeky grin said it all as he took it all in is stride. I reckon he's a great guy, solid reporter.

What is Ben up to these days? Has anyone seen him recently? I can't recall the last time I actually saw him on air.

Yep, I miss Ben. He's probably on R&R. It's actually kinda hard whenever reporters go on R&R, but it's easy to spot on anchors. But my guess is that he's on R&R.

I don't care if it takes Ben a while to figure it out, I'm just glad he got on Twitter! I think it's possibly the fastest I've logged in to follow someone after learning they were on Twitter. I've got a lot of respect for Wedeman - and it's not just for his sense of humour either.

And I love this Andre Gide quote Ben put in his bio: "Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it."

I just wrote this in the twitter thread, but I'll post it here too. I think Ben will hopefully be a GREAT addition to twitter. I can't wait to read what he gets up to.

Although Ben is not the first person that comes to mind when you think "anchor", I'd still love to see him host Prism if Stan is ever away. I think he'd do quite well.

^^ Oh, I didn't even think about that. Ben would be particularly good on the Prism segment. I don't know if he'd need to practice on the autocue, but yes let's hope we see that in the future.

Actually, I'd like to see that too. I don't know if it would ever happen, but I think he'd be great as the temp host.
