The New York Times had an article about China and their expanding navy. The US navy and military is worried about an expanding China yet I find this incredibly irrational given the fact that it is only natural that as China's economy expands they will expand their navy.

Anyway here is sort of a counterpoint to the NYT article.

The text format is a bit off but it's basically arguing for the opposite of what the NYT article is saying about the US military and China.
