Watched the debate Richard Quest moderated on special edition of Marketplace Europe this weekend and I wonder why can't there be more of this on CNNI. Weekends are made for discussions about news and it's beyond me why they gave up on this type of programs.

^^Ditto! I still vaguely remember the first week when CNNI introduced live weather hits, not sure what year that was (1999?), but I believe she was on from the start. Was a bit sad we didn't get to see Flip Spiceland and the old guard anymore on CNNI, but Femi was and still is a natural, it's almost impossible to dislike her on air presence.

I watched the new experimental format of AC360 on Monday and yesterday and, while I don't have too much to say about the format itself, I have to admit I liked the content. Apart from that lady who works for Glenn Beck, the rest of the panel had something substantive to say. Not sure if they can keep up, but I'll keep watching for now. It's certainly better than a replay plus there's no Donny Deutsch in this experiment.
