Also this... I was wondering what will happen this weekend, would be strange to have 4:3 WR when 80% of the programs were widescreen and with a new look this week.

@MirRafae Usual time for my show, but more shows will launch tomorrow on the new set.

Noticed this new weather woman last few months but never payed much attention. Now on AC 360 she's covering the tornado and I was quite amused by how she interrupted Anderson who had to stop her report cause he wanted to say the latest info and she was like ''Excuse me Anderson'' and went on to break the news/info herself.   She's acting as the main presenter.

She's on WBT today from London. Looks like she used to be on CNBC. She's handling it really well, like she's been doing WBT forever.

I find it strange that they use so many different fill in anchors for WBT London, Nina is very often off lately so we get Charles, Manisha, occasionally Emily Reuben and now Anna.

Also got confirmation that this will be a new 2 hour morning show from HK. It's not hard to presume it will replace current WR and be presented by Anna and Pauline, not sure if together or separate.

I wonder if the same will happen with European morning WR, it would make sense.

Has anyone else seen the promo on Asian feed? Can someone record it?

Surprised no one made a thread for this. It's a new Aaron Sorkin HBO show about a fictional news channel ACN and it's prime time (8pm) show called Newsnight.

It's basically a show made for us, news junkies, CNN followers and it seems like it was very much inspired by the current situation at CNN and all the troubles and challenges it's facing, especially with the whole dumbing down of news and celebrity culture taking over.

My favorite character is MacKenzie, love her energy and desire to make a real NEWS show. Will they succeed, how will the ratings be, we shall see...

Another interesting thing is that it's set in 2010 and the first big news they follow is the oil spill. I guess they will cover many other real events and that makes the show even more interesting.

I love how they built a real newsroom, real set, the plasma screens in the background have CNN (with it's 2010 look, AJ, BBC and their own channel ACN). ACN's graphics are basically CNN's current one, that's funny.

Watched first 2 episodes so far, 3. aired few days ago, it features Jane Fonda, another CNN connection. Critical reception has been mixed but I've seen a lot of praise from viewers on Twitter. I personally love the show and will stick with it, it's like they made a perfect show for me.
